Fiona Stanley Hospital
Identity, wordmarks and signage program for the new $2 billion, 150000sqm, 6300-room, 783 bed facility in Perth on a 32 hectare site. The biggest building infrastructure project ever undertaken by the state of WA. It opened in 2015.
For the project, the FSH Design Collaborative team comprising Hassell, Hames Sharley and Silver Thomas Hanley won four awards at the Australian Institute of Architects’ WA Architecture Awards.
The project included development and design of the wordmark for campus, for primary departments and typical services and destinations. The wordmark is also applied to the hospital website, vehicle fleet and major signs and building beacons.
